The Hideout by Revenue Rascals

A fractional CRO in your back pocket.

For local business owners, consultants, coaches and service providers who are done with hype. You get a real revenue plan, a weekly rhythm to work it, and a small crew building the same way you are.

Michelle Terpstra in a colorful romper, sitting on an orange couch

You don't need more ideas.

Maybe you run a shop, a studio, a service business or a consulting practice. Either way, you probably have a slow season to fill, a few offers you're not sure about, a social account you post to when you remember and a notes app full of next steps. What's missing is someone who looks at all of it and says: this one, not those, and here's the plan.

And you're tired of:

  • Big programs where your question waits in a queue
  • Courses that are out of date before you finish them
  • Online results you know aren't real
  • Pep talks when what you need is a sales plan

The Hideout is built to be the opposite.

"I'm very hesitant to work with people and hire a coach because I was like, 'You all are marketing and lying to me, and I'm not giving you my money.'"Past client, on the reunion call
Michelle talking with a group of clients at a workshop

Why I came back

I asked my past clients what to build.

For the past few years I've worked as a fractional Chief Revenue Officer, building revenue plans and sales teams inside scaling companies on their way from seven figures to eight. I love that work, but it limits my impact to one company at a time. Bringing back coaching lets me help a lot more business owners at once, and I missed my people.

So I invited past clients to a reunion call and asked what they'd want if I came back. Their answers were specific: practical sales help, honest timelines, access between calls, each other, and no more courses.

That's what the Hideout is.

Chat message: I come to you because it's practical sales. There are a lot of nice groups to be a part of but I would only join if there are sales goals...just me though. Too much that's soft. I like your hard skills.
Past client, from the reunion call chat

What a CRO does

Revenue is a wheel. Every spoke has to hold.

A Chief Revenue Officer owns everything that brings money into a business. Most small businesses work on one spoke at a time, usually whichever one is on fire. Marketing brings in leads, but the follow-up is weak. Sales are steady, but the pricing leaves money behind. Customers love you, but nobody asks them to come back.

One weak spoke and the wheel wobbles. Leave a few weak and the wheels fall off.

  • MarketingHow people find you
  • SalesHow they decide to buy
  • Pricing + offersWhat you sell and what it's worth
  • Customer experienceWhy they stay and come back
  • New revenueWhat else they can buy from you
  • Systems + AIWhat keeps it running without you doing all of it

A CRO looks at the whole wheel, finds the weakest spoke and fixes that first. That's the job I do inside scaling companies. In the Hideout, you get that same thinking applied to your business every week.

Where the Hideout fits

From "I do it all" to "It runs without me."

Every business grows through the same five stages, and every part of the business goes through them. The Hideout takes each spoke of your wheel through all five, at your pace.

STAGE 1FounderI do it
STAGE 2LeverageTools help me
STAGE 3TransferOthers do it

Free upEverything depends on youWritten down, automated and ready to hand offOthers own the work you documentedThe business runs without you in every decisionYou lead the vision and play more than you work

You can't hand off what you haven't made repeatable, so we build it first. When you're ready for others to run parts of the business, I coach you and your team through hiring, handing off and building a lean team with AI doing the repetitive work.

Who it's for

Built for simple, scalable businesses.

Some members want a steady business that pays them well. Others want to grow much bigger. Either way, the goal is the same: a business that's simple to run, scales without bloat and lets you play more than you work. Nobody can promise you a number, but we can build the plan and work it every week.

Local businesses

Shops, studios, restaurants, home services and personal services. Customers come through your door, or you go to them.

Expert businesses

Consultants, coaches, agencies and service providers. Clients buy your time, your thinking or your program.

Different businesses, same wheel. Members learn from each other, trade referrals and cheer each other on.

"…I really, really want that free time."Past client, on the reunion call

Coaching, not consulting

A fractional CRO works inside your business and runs the revenue for you. In the Hideout, I coach you and your team to run it yourselves. You keep the knowledge, the business depends on you less, and it costs a fraction of a CRO.

The Hideout method

One plan. Worked every week.

1

Prove the fit

Who buys, why they buy and what they'll pay. You start with the Hideout Diagnostic and your numbers. Some members confirm their fit in a week. Others test before they build.

2

Build your go-to-market plan

One plan that covers every spoke of your wheel, in this order:

Keep the customers you haveAdd new revenue streamsWin new customersFree up your time

Then we find the gaps. Your gaps become your to-do list, so no two members do the same work.

3

Work the plan

Commit to your goals out loud, work them every week and check with the Hideout before you pivot. Retake the diagnostic every month to see what changed and where to focus next.

Keep before you add, and add before you chase. A simple, stable business grows by getting more from each customer, not by needing endless new ones.

Plug-and-play automations. Install my GoHighLevel snapshots for follow-up, booking and reviews in your own account. Not on GoHighLevel? Use the same playbook to build them in the platform you already have.

No videos to sit through. The Hideout Playbook has the worksheets, scripts, templates and AI prompts for each gap, and anything that needs explaining happens live.

We use AI to take busywork off your plate. Your voice and your thinking stay yours.

"It makes it feel like success is attainable, and it's like, okay, I just put one foot in front of the other, and I have a plan, and I do this, and I can make this happen."Past client, on the reunion call

Why a group

This works better together.

Saying it out loud works

Goals you share with people you respect get done.

You see your gaps faster

Watching other plans get built shows you what's missing in yours.

The crew sends business

Members refer clients and customers to each other.

CRO thinking without CRO pricing

You and your team learn to run every spoke yourselves, instead of paying someone to run it for you.

Included in every membership

Host a Hideout meetup in your town.

In an AI world, the people who bring others together are the ones everyone trusts. Every member gets a license to host a free monthly Hideout meetup for business owners in their community. We give you the playbook and the content. You become the person who brings the room together.

Attendees who join the Hideout through you get a bonus from your business, and you earn 20% of their membership every month they stay. You build authority, and they turn into your clients and customers.

I've done this myself. I started a women entrepreneurs meetup here in Park City, grew it to 50 members, then handed it off. It's at 95 members today. It works.Michelle

"But I'd only be reaching business owners."

Yes, and that's the point. Business owners are often the biggest spenders in any community, and they know everyone. When you host the room, you become the person every business owner in town knows. They buy from you, and they send you their people.

1

Get the host kit

Each month: a topic from the revenue wheel, slides, a talk track, a group exercise, promo templates and a GoHighLevel event snapshot.

2

Host a free meetup

Once a month, in your town. A quick run-through with us before your first one, and you're ready.

3

Make your offer

Anyone who joins the Hideout through you also gets a bonus from your business. It's their first taste of what you sell.

4

Earn and grow

New members name you at checkout. You earn 20% of their membership, paid monthly for as long as they stay. Their bonus brings them through your door.

Bonus ideas from every kind of business

Doggy daycare Two free days for you or someone you knowBookkeeper A 30-minute numbers reviewBrand designer A brand auditYoga studio Your first class freeCopywriter A rewritten homepage headline

Your bonus comes from your own business and never overlaps with what the Hideout delivers.

The promise

What I won't do

  • I won't promise you a number. Anyone who guarantees revenue without seeing your business is guessing.
  • I won't sell you a course and call it mentorship.
  • I won't tell you what you want to hear.

What I will do: tell you the truth about your plan, your pricing and your timeline, and help you do the work.

"I think one thing that I really love about you is you're so honest."Past client, on the reunion call

Why Advisory pays for itself
Upgrading from Mentorship costs $500 more a month. Over six months, that's $3,000, which is what a VIP day costs on its own. So the VIP day covers the upgrade, and the private Hotline, 2 extra team seats and team planning cost you nothing extra.

Past client, in the chat

Questions

I'm a coach or consultant, not a local business. Is this for me?

Yes. The Hideout is built for both. Every part of the Playbook has examples for local businesses and for expert businesses like consultants, coaches and service providers.

Do I have to use GoHighLevel?

No. The strategy works on any platform. If you're already on GoHighLevel or want to be, every tier includes my snapshots so you can skip the setup.

Are there courses or videos?

No. You get working tools in your member portal: the diagnostic, your plan template, worksheets, scripts and AI prompts. Anything that needs explaining happens live on a call or in the Voxer community.

What results have your clients gotten?

Read what founders, sales teams and program partners have said in the Happy clients section, and see recent reviews on Google. Results vary, and I'll never promise you a number.

How does hosting a Hideout meetup work?

Every member gets a license to host a free monthly meetup for business owners in their town. You get the host kit each month and a quick run-through before your first event. Attendees who join the Hideout name you at checkout, you earn a 20% monthly referral fee, and they get a bonus from your business.

Do I have to host?

No. Hosting is included in both tiers, and it's your choice whether to use it.

Can I talk to you before I join?

Yes. Open the chat in the corner of this page and you'll reach me directly.

How is this different from hiring a fractional CRO?

A fractional CRO works inside your business. In the Hideout, you and your team get coached to do the work yourselves, so the knowledge stays in your company.

Can my team be involved?

Yes. As you grow into Stages 3 to 5, we coach the people you hand work to, so they run it the way you would. Mentorship includes 1 team member, and Advisory includes up to 3. Team members join the calls and the Voxer community. The private Hotline is for the Advisory owner.

What does the 6-month commitment mean?

Both tiers are six-month terms, billed monthly (six payments per term). At the end of each term, your membership renews for another six months until you give notice at least 30 days before your term ends. Advisory includes a new VIP day each term.

Can I switch tiers?

You can move up anytime. Your commitment carries over.

I don't know what to focus on yet. Is that okay?

Yes. We'll test your options first, then build your plan around what's working.

When are the calls?

Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9am Mountain Time.

When does onboarding happen?

Monday to Friday. Join any day and you'll be onboarded the same business day. It takes a few minutes.

Do I have to be on every call?

No. Show up when you can. The Monday Huddle is the one we'll nudge you about.

Where does everything live?

Conversation happens on Voxer: the Hideout community for everyone, plus the private Hotline for Advisory members. Your diagnostic, plan template, Playbook and snapshots live in your member portal. Call links go straight to your calendar.

Is the retreat included?

No. It's an optional add-on for any member.

Can I earn by referring friends?

Yes. Anyone who joins because of you, whether a friend or someone from your meetup, names you at checkout. You earn 20% of what they pay, every month, for as long as they stay a paying member and you stay a member too. If their payments stop, your fee stops. That's about $99 a month for each Mentorship member and $199 for each Advisory member.

Common questions about growing your business

Why has my business stopped growing?

Growth usually stalls because one part of the business is weak, like pricing, follow-up, repeat customers or how people find you, and the owner keeps working on a different part. Find the weakest part first and fix that before adding anything new.

How do I stop being the bottleneck in my business?

Write down what only lives in your head, use tools and AI for the repetitive work, then hand off one piece at a time. You can't hand off what you haven't made repeatable.

How do I get more clients without working more hours?

Get more from the customers you already have before chasing new ones: better pricing and packages, a reason to come back and a simple way to refer friends. Then add new customers with a plan you follow every week.

How do I know what to focus on in my business?

Look at the whole business, not just the part that's on fire. A diagnostic across marketing, sales, pricing, customer experience and systems shows where the biggest gap is, and that's where to start.

Should I hire a salesperson?

Only once you could tell them exactly who to sell to, what to say, how to follow up and how success is measured. If you can't yet, build that first, or the hire will struggle.

How can I use AI in my business without losing the personal touch?

Use AI for research, follow-up, scheduling and first drafts. Keep the conversations, relationships and decisions human.

Is a business mastermind or coaching group worth it?

It's worth it when it gives you a plan, accountability and people who send you business. It isn't worth it when it's mostly courses and pep talks.

What is a fractional CRO?

A fractional Chief Revenue Officer is a part-time revenue leader who owns everything that brings money into a business: marketing, sales, pricing, customer experience and new revenue. In the Hideout, you get that thinking as coaching for you and your team.
